The trails at the Powder Magazine offer a warm welcome in a building that is over a century old, which once housed an old black powder manufacturing plant. The trails are adjacent to the Watopeka River and wind through the lands of the Domtar paper mill. You can take loops ranging from 2 to 11.3 kilometers. In spring, summer, and fall, explore our historic trail La Poudre Noire (2 km) featuring remnants of the buildings that made up the factory, as well as 15 interpretation points with audio recordings and photos via the Ondago app. Personalized welcome, souvenir shop, artisan shop, terrace, and picnic area are also part of the services offered.
