Located in the heart of the city of Sorel-Tracy, the square is close to various small shops and restaurants. This historic site was converted into an urban park in the late 19th century after serving as a parade ground from 1780 to 1860. In fact, the layout of the paths forms a radiant design that represents the British flag, the Union Jack. In winter, the park's paths transform into an ice rink where you can skate to music on a half-kilometer of frozen surface.
