Anchor Park is an open-air museum accessible 365 days a year. Its collection of over 100 anchors and other maritime-related artifacts is unique. It reflects the history of our river and the Soulanges Canal. A museum complements this facility and showcases artifacts, models, and visuals that tell the story of what the river was like before it was tamed. Operated by the Pointe-des-Cascades Historical Research Society, guided tours of the interpretation center are available by appointment during the summer season.
