Nurrait - Young Caribou

We believe that by reconnecting with the land, with themselves, and with others, young Nunavimmiut will be equipped to thrive.

Every year, Nurrait | Jeunes Karibus supports young people ages 10 to 35 from Nunavik’s 14 communities by offering them concrete opportunities designed to help them reach their full potential through intervention programs carried out on the ground. This support begins as soon as the young people first get involved and continues throughout their journey with the organization, fostering their self-awareness, strengthening their sense of competence, belonging, and autonomy, and valuing and recognizing their knowledge.

Nurrait | Jeunes Karibus provides services in the 14 communities of Nunavik.

The Nurrait | Jeunes Karibus offices are located in Kuujjuaq, which is accessible by plane from Montreal or Quebec City.

We value engagement with Nunavik’s youth by recognizing and building on individual and community strengths, fostering solidarity and empowerment, and creating meaningful opportunities for human connection and connection to the land.
