How do I get to the Malherbe Campground?
Malherbe is accessible via Route 155 toward Lac-Bouchette. From there, you’ll need to take a gravel road suitable for vehicles for about 1 km to reach the estate.

Visitors have access to two “Espaces Connexion,” located at the mountain summit and on the riverbank, designed to encourage moments of sharing, relaxation, and camaraderie. Summit Area: - Welcome Pavilion (outdoor and board games available to borrow, firewood for campfires ($)) - 2 fully equipped restroom facilities (free hot showers, standard toilets) - Sink and counter for washing dishes - Covered shelter with a counter for cooking - Griddle and propane included - Artisan-style outdoor pizza oven with pizza peel - Mosquito net shelter - 5 picnic tables - Shared campfire (wood included and grilling grates) - 2 outlets for charging small electronic devices Lakeside Area: - Direct access to Lac des Commissaires - Dock - 1 picnic table
Can I bring my own boat during my stay?
Yes. Guests staying at Malherbe may bring their own non-motorized watercraft and launch it directly from the dock. Accepted watercraft: - Stand-up paddleboard - Kayak - Canoe Motorized watercraft are not permitted (rowboats, electric or gas-powered motors, etc.). Please note that access to the lake involves a trail that is approximately 500 meters downhill, followed by a 500-meter climb on the return trip, with a moderate elevation gain. No shuttle service is available; therefore, you must arrange to transport your own equipment. It is also possible to launch a boat using a vehicle, but this option is recommended only for those with a 4x4 vehicle who are comfortable driving on rocky and steep trails.
How do I get to my campsite or cabin?
All sites (camping platforms and shelters) are accessible exclusively on foot. It takes a maximum of 3 minutes to walk there. Transport carts are available near the reception pavilion.
