An ideal cottage for enjoying the great outdoors in any season Want to unwind, breathe in the fresh air, and fully enjoy nature? The GabAdèle Family Cottage, located in Mandeville in the Lanaudière region, is the perfect starting point for your next adventures. In the summer, enjoy access to the lake right in front of the chalet or head to the small sandy beach, just a few minutes’ walk away. Kayaks for adults and children, as well as a stand-up paddleboard, are available for you to explore the lake. Hiking enthusiasts can also explore the Lac en Cœur trails and the region’s magnificent scenery. In the fall, the colors of Lanaudière provide an exceptional backdrop for walks, forest excursions, and moments gathered around the outdoor fire. In winter, the cottage becomes a true haven after a day of snowshoeing, sledding, or snowmobiling. The snowmobile trail is about 400 meters away, making it very easy to set out on your excursions. After a busy day, return to the comfort of the cottage: a propane fireplace, a large game room with pool and air hockey, a fully equipped kitchen, and cozy spaces that can accommodate up to 10 people. The cabin is easily accessible by car year-round. Private parking for up to six vehicles is available on-site. You can enter the cabin on your own using a smart lock. Your personal access code and detailed directions to the cabin will be sent to you before your arrival. Check-in is available starting at 4:00 p.m., and check-out must be completed by 11:00 a.m. at the latest. You’ll have access to the entire chalet and the outdoor areas designated for guests.

In winter, the region is very popular for snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and other snow-based activities. Spring is more peaceful and perfect for those who want to relax in nature. Each season, therefore, offers a different experience at Chalet Familial GabAdèle.

Yes. Private parking is available on-site and can accommodate up to six vehicles.

What level of experience is required for the activities?

Most of the activities offered near the cabin are suitable for beginners and families. Hiking, snowshoeing, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding can be enjoyed without any special experience, as long as you stay within your limits and follow safety guidelines. For water activities, wearing a life jacket is strongly recommended. Children must always be accompanied and supervised by an adult. Snowmobiling and ATV riding require more experience, as well as a vehicle that meets safety standards, the necessary licenses, and compliance with applicable regulations.
